Here’s a compelling argument for keeping the post office alive and well: Two of Edward Gorey’s illustrated postcards to his editor and collaborator on three children’s books, Peter Neumeyer.
This image appears in a new book, Floating Worlds: The Letters of Edward Gorey and Peter F. Neumeyer, in which the Neumeyer publishes the never-before released correspondence with Gorey, an illustrator of the macabre and a personal favorite of mine.
